Maracay is the closest city to Henri Pittier National Park, the oldest in Venezuela. The park encompasses two geographic systems. On the one hand, the mountainous forest of the Venezuelan Coastal Range, deeply green with great biodiversity of flora and fauna.
Further north, on the Caribbean coast, you’ll find beaches, bays and spas straight out of paradise. You’ll also find the cacao road leading to Chuao, where some of the best cacao in the world is still grown today.
