Grupo Inversor Hesperia, S.A. (hereinafter, “GIHSA”), a Spanish company, holder of tax identification number A-61.351.540, with registered offices at 08907 L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona), Av. Mare de Déu de Bellvitge, 3 and created on 14 March 1997, is the parent company of the Hesperia Group.
Although GIHSA was established in 1997, the Hesperia Group’s beginnings in the hotel sector date back to the 1970s as a chain managing holiday hotels, taking the decision a few years later to expand the business to the most representative cities in Spain, thus also establishing itself in the urban sector.
Currently, the Hesperia Group manages 22 hotel establishments in Spain, 17 of which are urban and 5 are holiday establishments. It also has an urban establishment in the Principality of Andorra. The aim of the Hesperia Group has always been to offer its clients those services that can best satisfy their needs regardless of their preferences and/or profiles, based on excellence and commitment. This will and the Hesperia Group’s tireless efforts to satisfy the wishes of its customers has led it to integrate various prestigious brands in the world of hospitality (Hesperia, Hyatt Regency, Hyatt Residences, Secrets, Dreams and La Manga Club).
It should be noted that GIHSA has recently obtained UNE 19601 and UNE 19602 certifications for the criminal and tax compliance management systems, respectively, and that, as a result of this system, it has implemented the anti-corruption policy attached below: 2023 11 15_Anti-corruption policy (signed)

- Mr. José Antonio Castro Sousa:
Mr Castro began his professional career at the head of his family business Construcciones Castro, a construction company with decades of experience in Catalonia, Galicia and the Canary Islands. He continues to be Chairman of the Board of Directors of Construcciones José Castro, S.A., dedicated to the development and construction of housing, commercial and office premises.
He is also a member of the board of directors of GIHSA, some of its subsidiaries and other third party companies, holding positions such as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Metropolitan Spain, S.L., a company that manages and operates more than 20 luxury gyms throughout Spain.
- Mr Jordi Ferrer Graupera:
Mr Ferrer has more than 25 years of international experience in the hospitality and tourism business (hotels, shopping centres, residential developments, resorts and commercial spaces) gained through his participation in entrepreneurial projects and international advisory roles.
He has also been a partner in leading global professional services firms such as Deloitte and CEO of his own international tourism business consulting firm as part of a joint venture with Indra.
He has also held positions as Director of Urbanova and Intursa (Breca Group), the Board of the Urban Land Institute (U.L.I. Barcelona) and the AULA ESADE Business School for Tourism and Global Hospitality Innovation. Currently, he also acts as Secretary of the Board of the Gremi d’Hotels de Barcelona and holds the position of member of Exceltur, representing Grupo Hesperia.
He has also been invited to serve as a keynote speaker or panelist at industry forums, including the International Hotel Investment Forum, the European Hotel and Real Estate Urban Land Institute Council and the European and Arabian Hotel Investment Forum.
Mr Ferrer graduated from Ramon Llull University with a degree in Business Administration and completed a BA and MBA from ESADE Business School and a PDD from IESE Business School in Barcelona.
- Mr Víctor Pérez Ruiz:
Mr Pérez graduated from the University of Barcelona with a degree in Economics and an MBA from ESADE Business School.
He was Chief Financial Officer of Hoteles Hesperia, S.A. for ten years, being responsible for the Administration and Finance department as a member of the Management Committee. He has also participated in several projects, such as the disaffiliation of the Hesperia Group from the NH Hotels Group.
In addition, he has been Chief Financial Officer of the Hesperia Group since 2010.
- Mr Gonzalo Alcaraz Zaragoza:
Mr Alcaraz has more than 25 years of experience in the hotel business, where he has held positions ranging from operational and commercial management to strategic positions in the corporate area.
His professional career has included important positions in companies such as Meliá and NH, always with an international focus that has allowed him to accumulate extensive knowledge of various markets, both in Europe and Latin America and the United States.
He has been linked to the Hesperia Group for 13 years and in 2020 he was appointed General Business Director after leading the company’s holiday hotel division since 2018.
He also has an extensive educational background, including, among others, a senior management programme at IESE Business School.
